Does anyone in Ft Lauderdale area know what happened to Wonderlist Scuba?
I see they closed but don’t know why.
Great little shop close to my hotel I go to.
Too bad.

Rephrased: anyone know why it closed?

Curious about this as well... the owner was my dive instructor a few years ago working out of SF Dive HQ in Pompano.

Was it Tim or Nick, Charlene, Ton, Tod or Ripley, how about Raymond, Tim or Kevin, it wasn't Jon was it!

Charlene was the owner. There's so much competition in that area and they lost their lease$. Not sure if she is still in the area or went back up in NY.

The shop was beautiful but that location was terribad. A nice clean, high end shop essentially competing for shore divers that aren't known for being big spenders. It was too out of the way for people diving the boats to use it (compared with other shops) and it essentially only serviced one accessible shore dive spot.

Its a shame but I knew it wouldn't last as soon as I walked in and saw how much they spent on the space, there was no way they were gonna claim the customer base to keep it going at that spot.

Wasn't aware they closed. Too bad. The SFL market is a tough one.

It was Raymond. Sad to hear it - the shop was neat, and I really liked the floor art. Tough industry I suppose.
