Generally you can't dive there, but they did used to have an annual cleanup dive there. Sounded like fun.

I snorkeled there one night. (Don't ask.) The vis was great and there's quite a few curious smallmouth in the pond.
 
I thank everyone for their feedback. It's really only a thought at the moment. I have a cohort and the equipment necessary to stage an archeological survey. However, I need to do conduct substantive research before I can pose anything.

That being said, Walden Pond has had a fair amount of human activity over the years. There is probably something down there, but not in the way of really super interesting.
