Hi there, I'll be on the Big Island in February and will be splitting time between the Kona area and Waikoloa. I've already booked some dives with Big Island Divers for when I'm down in Kona but would also like to book a day or two up by Waikoloa to avoid the dreaded drive back to Kona.

What suggestions do you have for a dive shop based further up the coast by Waikoloa? I'm more towards the beginner side of things so I would be looking to just do a couple of nice dives.

Thanks!

I've heard some good things about Blue Wilderness. Their shop is located in the Queen's Marketplace at the resorts and run a 6 pack inflatable, I think the boat is run out of Puako or Kawaihae. The big Red Sail boat showed up at the harbor the other week with a for sale sign on it so I'm not sure what's up with them.

Have fun,
