Talked with Gabe last night (Kaimana Divers: SCUBA Diving in Honolulu, Oahu, Hawaii, Waikiki) finalized the air, hotel and car this morning (finally put that entertainment book coupon for $200 off an orbitz vacation to use) and we are BOOKED for Oahu for August 6-13 
I've been once to Oah'u and it was six years ago... still is one of my favorite trips. My husband has only been thru the HNL airport.
