Wah! Ive broken my C5050

That rugged metal body isnt much use when the program selection dial appears to be held together by 4 little pegs less than a millimeter in diameter.

If only they did the program selection with a menu like their other cameras.

Try this maybe: If you can still turn the dial then leave it on My Mode. Then program the P, A, S and M etc into the 8 available My Mode settings. Finally, add the My Mode menu to one of the Shortcut menus. This way you can still use all the (still) shooting modes without physically turning the dial until you get it fixed.

Excellent Idea! I can set it to mymode and then wrap it up with gaffer tape

Just the sort of temporary solution I can use permanently

Shouldn't it still be on warranty? sent it back to Olympus.
