In a current dive hanging on a line the bubbles will be swept away.

Because there's a whole buttload of folks under you, all around the line. Sure, if its just a few divers it's easy, not always so. Sometimes yer stuck in the stack :)

A While back we were on a charter dive with a bunch~o~divers and they were schooling around the line... most hanging onto it...

We just moooved awaaaay....

One of them ventured out to do some *stupid diver* tricks for us and...

He scurried back to the *safety* of the line.
 
Well Pug, there's always another answer but when I'm doing my bad time in shallow depths, I prefer the *safety* of the line. I don't mind moving off in 60', I like to hang on in 15'. Might just be me........ :)
