VT Pro recurring issue???

I have a VT Pro and it seems that each time i have brought the device home from jamaica (twice) it triggers a problem. The altimeter gets wacked. When it starts up it reads ALT...can somebody help me with this???oceanic fixed the problem while it was under warranty the first time and when called about this current occurance they had no record of ever fixing my device the first time. How can that be???any advice would be appreciated...peace

i leave tomorrow for jamaica and this will be the third trip this year of not using my computer...ug
