I have a VT -3 and the temperature is reading 5 degrees cooler than the actual water temp is? The temperature was compared utilizing other dive computers on multiple dives. Is there a way to calibrate the VT-3? Thanks for any formation.

Here's a tip to check it. Get a large bowl of water and a stick thermometer. Put both in the water at the same time and check the temps of both after 5 minutes.

I have noticed that there is a difference in temp readings from brand to brand and even model to model.

I'd be interested in calibration info.

Temperature may only be recalibrated as part of a complete factory service. The acceptable calibration range for all Oceanic Dive Computer models is +/- 3 degrees F. Theoretically, you may have 2 units both within spec that show a total variance of 6 degrees.
