I have the VR3 and a Shearwater Predator. The VR3 has an extremely steep learning curve. Access of different functions requires either short pushes, or long pushes of either the right or left 'buttons' (or both). The trick is remembering if it's short, long, left or right, or both.

Having said that, mine has been bulletproof. Not even a single hiccup.
