Hey, our new tent passed the rain test. We had about 3 inches of rain here over the past day and a half and the tent passed with flying colors.

Oooooooooh, I'm so jealous. Our Californian bought tent couldn't withstand a thundershower band from Gustav at St. Andrews, so I'm drinking all night if it rains! Bugger staying in our tent, I'll make for someone's dry tent or someone's Grandview room instead, so watch out Denise or Capt. Brumby. My clan can do likewise, find a friend and squat like our ancestors did!!

Will anybody there be able to do a VIP on a Steel Tank for me? I have a 95 full of air that I want to burn and get VIP'd and filled with EAN

I'll take the 119's offshore with EAN32 and get those refilled

I only have my tent, sleeping bag, cooler(water and food). Oh of course All my gear(My doubles, a stage, and my new Dry suit. I'm sure there is other stuff that I can't think of like cloths.

Denise do you have room in your vehicle for a body and gear over to Jackson on Sat.. I'll chip in for fuel.

Yep, it's official. Talked to my buddy yesterday and we plan to go cave diving that weekend. Probably spend most of the time at JB, but will drop by Vortex long enough for a little mayhem.

I have two campsites reserved and it looks like I will only be needing one of them so if anyone needs somewhere to put a tent site 13 and 14 will have some room.

I will be leaving New Orleans around 9 friday morning if anyone wants to ride along or needs a pick up along the way. Got plenty of room

Is anyone going to be at Vortex on Friday and willing to tolerate a newbie a bit? I want to work on buoyancy and other skills and have no dive buddy for that day. I won't be there Saturday like I originally thought as I will be doing a night dive in P'cola for Advance on Saturday.
I live less than two hours away and can be at Vortex by 9 or 10 o clock that morning.
