LOL, I haven't heard that one..... well not in refference to a turtle atleast :)

When I grew up in Louisiana, we lived behind a canal and had these turtles in our yard all the time. We've had some crawl through our yard with a shell 20+"s across before. The one pictured is only about 13-14" across.

My roomate decided to try out an external strobe on his Sealife 3.3MP camera, it most certainly resulted in better coloring and a wider focused area. Here are a few pics that he and I took this morning at Vortex Springs.

I especially like the composition of the divers in the school of blue gills.

Nice, crisp pics with good lighting... good work with the strobe angle in keeping the dreaded backscatter away.
