So the alert level has gone from condition 3 to condition 4. There is an extreme danger to residents within the volcanoes eruption zone. Manila Ninoy Aquino International airport is closed. Ashfall and eruption preventing the safe operation of aircraft.
 
If the volcanic ash falls in the water of Anilao or PG then it would be really disaster to the marine life.
Finger crossed.

I’m currently in Puerto Galera - luckily got in yesterday couple hours before Taal blew. Air smells bit funky but so far no ash falling here
 
I made it out last week and other family made it out by 2 hours on Saturday just before the eruption. 2 are stuck in Manila until at least Wednesday. They were supposed to fly Sunday but their flight is cancelled.
 
If there is a "major" eruption, it is feared to be worse than Mt. Pinatubo. That would be catastrophic. Another pic of lightning from the plume....
