DiveCapital.com / Dive Radar

Yes you can go to DiveCapital.com where they pull and post dive logs current/past from dive charters who are using Scubaocity's Live Data Feed. The application is brand new and called Dive Radar and when a Scubaocity customer puts in a dive report it is automatically posted on Dive Radar. Currently there are 11 dive shops from Key West to West Palm and growing.

You must register to get on the site, but it is free.

Once there you can search by location or dive shop to see visibility, current, sea conditions, sea temp, wind, and a dive report. You can also search those dive shops for current/future dives and by clicking on the Book Now link go directly to the dive charters website to view more information about that dive and even book it online.

Attached is a screen shot of Dive Radar.

Hope you enjoy.

Hello,

Does anyone know of a South Florida website that posts the current visibility for scuba divers?

No such thing. Best thing to do is post where/when you're diving and odds are someone will have been there recently.

The visibility can change from day to day... even within the day.

From Dive Radar here is the report for last month from the operators who posted. You can sort by location, dive shop, and dive site if desired. Of course if the operator doesn't put anything in it won't be posted, but ability is there.

Good Diving,
