Well I got my refund back from our 2 deposits.
I want to thank Chip & the whole shop of Dive Connections.
Dive Connections/scuba diving/charlottesville, virginia/dive shop center/diving & travel for spearheading this. They did an excellent job.
Now I don't understand how a state the size of Virginia with all the divers we have could not come up with the needed # of deposits.
North Carolina put up the # with ease. Then take into account that our tag was a much better looking example than theirs & it truly boggles the mind.
Well maybe sometime soon we can get it up again, I know I would still be willing.

I'm confused...is this a follow up thread I missed the beginning of?

All caught up now. That sucks! That would have been so cool. So they have given up then?

I only know that there was a time limit & wasn't even aware of how long. My wife kept getting e-mails telling her the end was near & looking for new applications & then our deposits were returned.
I put applications at our LDS & they always got taken & the owner kept making more so I don't know what happened. I guess everyone was waiting until they could just go to DMV & get 1. That plan failed us all.
All it took was $10 for a regular tag & $20 for personalized. Of course that would be required in addition to your registration every year you owned the tags.
Well I will get off my soapbox now.
