UPDATE:
Back in January, I disassembled my original doubles and reassembled using a pair of Healthways steel 72s I picked up off EBay. I replaced the old valves with a pair of matching Genesis K valves from Leisurepro. The cheater bar works perfectly and I now have a dozen dives on the set. But, damn, they're heavy for an old guy like me to lug around on dry land!
