So tried using two Hartenberger Nanos for video lighting. Excuse the poor video but it may give you some idea of their capability. While I don’t think they will replace high end video lighting they worked fairly well.

These are new so the bulbs have not burned in and the batteries where FULL but have not been exhausted and then recharged. Burn time about 50 minutes, 30 of that on Level 4 (Full) with a lot of changing power up and down.

Our Setup:
Canon Elura 90
Ikelite Housing
2xHartenberger Nanos on 8" arms, 20watt Hal, with frosted lens
UWL 100 Wide Angle Lens

Conditions
Green Water (Obviously)
About 20' viz
Overcast, minimal morning sun

Part I Starfish
Shot from about 6 feet you will see video bounce around as I take the power from 1-4

Part 2 Cabizon
Shot from about 4 feet as you will see just try OFF and max power of 4

Part 3 Anem Shot
Shot from about 5 feet again just OFF and Max

Part 4 Wall
Taken in the "shade" with bad light placement. Taken from about 5 feet.
