Cool video. Looks like you were diving with Charlie Donilon and his boat Snapper. I went out with him earlier this year and highly recommend his operation. We freely swam with snorkels outside the cage with a similar size Blue Shark and never felt in any danger, had there been a Mako or more than two sharks at any time we would have gone into the cage or the platform.

I have been thinking about heading up there and doing this myself but haven't gotten around to it yet. How much time did you get in the water with the sharks? I am always worried you have to keep rotating with other divers and only get a short amount of time.

BTW OP great videos, looking forward to the documentary.

Thank you for sharing this. I think the Blue Shark is one of the most graceful and beautiful sharks. I would love to see one some time(albeit, in a safe way). Please keep us posted on the documentary.

There was plenty time to swim with the sharks, at least 2 hours, especially since we mainly surfaced swam with snorkels, as the noise and bubbles from SCUBA tends to scare them off. There is a floating patform that you can lie upon or 3-4 people could go in the cage. When I went only one person went in the cage and 5 of us swam outside of it. The Blue shark is not aggressive, however if a Mako showed up we were advised to view from the safety of the platform or cage.
