I re-posted the video with the correct aspect ratio here.

It now fills the frame. Be sure to click on "watch in high quality" at the lower right side of the frame for best viewing. In full screen mode you can see some of the tiny shrimp.

I hate that Youtube is blocked at my work. I'd love to see the little shrimp right now. Oh well, I'll see them when I get home. ;)

Hey Greg, great vid. Is it really from Christmas, or the dive/wine/pizza gig Saturday night? I was out the night of Christmas Eve- based on the viz (lack thereof) from the storm rolling in and the worm you found at the end of the dive, I'm guessing that the video was from Saturday night...

I'm really bummed I got down there too late to join you guys for that dive. Looks like a wonderful time.

I'm guessing you'll be in Mexico by then, but let me know if you're planning a Monterey New Year's Eve dive. I'd definitely be game.

For what it's worth, I thought the music selection was great. Both Air and Enigma are groups that readily come to mind when considering NorCaL diving.

Let's get under the water together again soon!

-Ben

Yeah, that was the dive/wine/pizza gig Saturday night. It was a great dive. Sorry to hear vis didn't hold up for Christmas Eve.

Bummer...I'm going to miss the New Years Eve dive again this year! Last year I was driving home from Santa Barbara and now this year I'll be driving down there the next day. Too bad you won't be joining us for the Vision trip Ben...it might be a whole weekend of New Years Eves. :D

Oh, Michelle, I'm really sorry! I don't know what your plan is for driving, but I might be up for a New Year's Eve daytime dive if you feel like making a pit stop. I'll be heading home to CO the 1st - 5th, so I won't get my weekend diving fix in. I'll be looking to dive that day anyway.

Vis wasn't awful Christmas Eve: 5-15 ft, depending on depth. It was an interesting night though- I posted a blog about it if you're interested in checking it out :)

I'm really bummed I won't be making the Vision trip this year either; between visiting family and finances, I just couldn't do it. Maybe this spring will be a possibility. I'd really like to check out the SoCal waters!

Thanks Ben but unfortunately, I have to work New Years Eve day and I'm picking up a couple people for the ride down south the next day. We should definitely get together for a couple dives after we get back though.

Your Christmas Eve dive sounds like a wild one...even without the thoughts of Charlie. I think I'll stick to a few short feelings of nightime solitude while my buddy is exploring close by. ;)

Hope you have a great trip home and a Happy New Year!

Hey Ben, Michelle's right it was the night dive/pizza/wine night, but it's so close to Christmas that I hijacked the word.

I'll be on the Channel Island live aboard during New Years, so let's plan a Jan/Feb dive. Glad you like the music, seems right to me too.
