Victoria Vis conditions?

Not too bad at the middle of the Ogden Point breakwater today. There were lots of stringy bits floating in the water, but visibility was about 20-30'.

50 - 60 feet of visibility on the big wall at Madrona this morning.

Great vis right from shore all the way out to the big wall.

No noticeable thermocline.

At least 75 feet of visibility at Cottam Point today.

Not as good at the Ogden Point breakwater as at Cottam Point, but still pretty decent for the breakwater today. Visibility was 20-30'.

Nasty at 10-Mile Point today. -Maybe 6-8' and very dark.

Same again today at Ten Mile Pt: 6-8'.

Not too bad in Enterprise Channel today. Once away from shore, visibility was 15-20'.

Visibility was surprisingly bad today at Clover Point. it was maybe 3' near shore (couldn't see my fins and had to swim with my hand out so I wouldn't bump into anything). Out by the kelp it was around 6' and maybe 8' on the far side of the kelp. Far out from shore (60' deep) it improved slightly to around 10'.

Visibility at Henderson Point today wasn't great. It was 3' in the shallows. Below 25' deep it started to clear. At 60' deep, it was 20' and at 100' deep it was maybe 30'. There were lots of floating white bits at all depths.

Up in the Nanoose area today, visibility was 8-10' in the shallows at Dolphin Beach and another spot nearby. It cleared up at 55-65' deep to about 40-50' of visibility.
