About 20 - 25 feet of visibility on the big wall at Madrona yesterday morning.

Best vis was below 30 feet, anything above 30 wasn't good at all.

Lots of stringy algae in the water.

Vis was about 5 - 10 feet at Tyee this morning, even down at 90 feet

Lots of stringy algae in the water, which made things worse.

A "night dive" during the day.

About 25 - 30 feet of visibility at Dolphin last night. Big tidal exchange appears to have flushed a lot of crap out of the area.

Visibility was about 10' near shore at Clover Point today. Out past the kelp and down the rocky slope it improved a bit to about 15-20'.

20' at Caycuse (Cowichan Lake) today.

Visibility was pretty good at McKenzie Bight today considering the time of year. It was only 6-10' in the shallows, but below 25' deep it started to clear. At 40' deep, visibility was 30'. Below 60' deep visibility was maybe 50'. The water was full of particles at all depths.

5 - 10 foot visibility at Dolphin Beach this morning. Never cleared, even at depth.

At Whiskey Point (Mill Bay, Saanich Inlet) today, visibility was a promising 10-15' in the shallows, but below 10' deep visibility dropped to 6-8'. Below 50' deep it improved a bit to 10'.
