Victoria Vis conditions?

At McKenzie Bight today visibility was 6-10' above 40' deep. Below that it gradually improved. At 60' deep, visibility was 30'. Below 100' deep, visibility was a dark 40' or so.

I went back to McKenzie Bight today and the visibility has improved. It was around 10' in the shallows and increased steadily with depth. Below 60' deep, visibility was at least 50' and nice and bright.

About 40 feet visibility at Dolphin last night. Still a bit soupy in the shallows, but once below the thermocline at 35 feet things cleared up nicely.

Visibility at McKenzie Bight was pretty bad today. It was maybe 10' max all the way down to my maximum depth of 100'. Below 60' deep, it was completely dark.

About 40 feet of visibility at Madrona Point yesterday. Didn't get that until we got below 60 feet. Pronounced thermocline between 30 and 35 feet. A bit soupy in the shallows.

About 30 feet of visibility last night at Dolphin. Not so good in the shallows but vis got better as we got deeper.

Visibility was a decent 20' today at Ogden Point.

Seriously outstanding visibility at Mistaken Island (up near Nanoose) today. It was maybe 10' in the shallows, but it quickly cleared up deeper. Below 40' or so visibility was a crazy 100' I'd guess.
