Dove at Madrona Point near Parksville last Friday. Estimate vis at 75 on the big wall, and you could see the surface from the bottom. Barely needed a compass to get from shore to the big wall and back. Vis gets better as you got deeper. :D

Vis was approximately 50 feet at Tyee Cove today. Would have been much better had the sun been out :D

We went down the sand dredge and then to the left. A couple of wolf eels, a puget sound king crab, and the usual fish life.

Great dive !!

Vis in the Saanich Inlet has been absolutely terrible for the last few days with some algae globs. At Christmas Point the vis went from a foot or two in the first twenty or thirty feet, only getting good near 100.

Dove Madrona Point yesterday. Vis in the shallows was much less than what it has been lately, and was better on the big wall (approximately 40 feet).
Starting to see some fish boats out in the area, which means that the herring are starting to run. Once the herring spawn, might as well stay out of the
water for a couple of weeks :depressed:, which is why I am going to Cozumel :D
