The grass is green and the early flowers are in bloom. back to normal here.

20' at Saxe Point (Esquimalt) today. -Maybe closer to 30' out at the base of the reefs.

[Rockfish Divers]

We found a wreck at the mouth of Todd Inlet on Sunday and went searching for another wreck that was said to have recently gone down southeast of Henderson point today... top 20' is pure Plankton, but a solid 40'+ vis once you hit 50'. Bring a light, it's dark.

Dove at Tyee Cove last night. Visibility was VERY poor down to about 40 but cleared up after that. Far cry from the 100 foot plus of visibility I had in Cozumel last week

Did a "night dive" during the day at Madrona on Thursday. Visibility was 10 feet at best, from shore right to the bottom of the big wall. Lights were definitely a necessity. As we were gearing down I remarked to my buddy that we could have been diving with orcas, and never would have seen them. Ironically, and unsolicited, a resident adjacent to the dive site asked us if we had seen the killer whales that went by when we were down :shocked2:
