Was at Tyee Cove on Thursday. Visibility was at least 75 feet, and you could see the surface from about 90 feet. :) Planning to dive Madrona Point tomorrow and will post vis conditions.

A good 75 feet visibility at Madrona today, and you could see the surface from the bottom of the big wall. :D Two big octopus on the big wall, along with a decorated warbonnet. :) We also found a small octopus in the maze. A great dive today !!

At least 75 foot vis at Tyee Cove yesterday. Even better every time the sun came out. :D

Madrona Point was a good 75 feet plus visbility today, despite the heavy overcast. Found six octopus on the big wall :D

Pretty good at the end of the Ogden Point breakwater today: 20-30'. Since it's winter it was pretty dark down there though.

I went to the end of the breakwater again today. Visibility seemed even better by a bit, maybe 30', but it was still very dark at the base of the slope. I could see the shadows of all the rockfish surrounding me. When I turned on my wide video light, I could see black, yellowtail, widow, yelloweye, Puget Sound, vermilion, canary, copper and quillback rockfish all in one view in front of me without even turning my head. I was thinking that all the scene needs are some tiger rockfish and then I saw 2 of them on the bottom behind all of the other rockfish.

Despite the windstorm last night, visibility has held at the end of the breakwater. It was about 30' today and it even seemed brighter than yesterday. I don't know how long it will last. The wind came up when I was underwater and the waves and surge made it difficult to climb back out of the water.
