Calling all Victoria Tech Divers, Where on the island are you? Which part is the most filled for technical divers, I think im going to move out there this year just for diving.

lol thanks, But what area in victoria is the most popular for diving? Im trying to get into the most popular dive spot so I can dive all the time, not where I am now.

I wouldn't concider myself anywhere close to a tech diver, but one of the first places I would recommend you check out is the artifical reefs that were sunk in Departure Bay. Artifical Reefs I have only been there for a week but plan on doing them a lot more. You might want to check out http://victoriadiving.awardspace.com/

The breakwater is insanely popular for recreational diving. The bulk of the tech dives are basically by boat out of Victoria or Sidney. Less commonly from Campbell River or Port Hardy. I suspect the majority of the tech divers live in the Victoria-Sidney corridor, since that's where most of the people are.

Oh, I did not know victoria was a city and I live in B.C. I came up and thought victoria was the island and vancouver island was just a name for the island. Man shows how smart I am.....

Ya, me and the lady are thinking of moving out there. She wants to take a school course out there and me I can just dive and work a the Local mill if there is one.
