The south island areas between Sidney and Victoria have more divers/buddies and shop support for tech diving. Ogden Point is setup to support tech divers. Not sure if there are other shops.
There are a few facilities/charters/shops north of that. None are very tech diving oriented. 90+% of the business north island is recreational air diving. Nitrox is slowly becoming more available. Trimix and deco gases are quite difficult still. I'd guess most of the north island tech dives are done off the Mamro as a liveaboard.
There are two places on the west coast of Vancouver Island, both based in Port Alberni. The Dive Shed is setup for tech diving, mostly DIR/GUE trained.
