I should know better. Repeat, I should know better.
I headed to Vet's right from work today to videotape the squid "run". It was more of a dead crawl. There were five dying squid between the lower and middle stairs at 50-60'. There was nothing, nada, nil below 75'. There were a few dozen dead squid scattered about and the patches of egg sacs were mostly the silted remains from the December mini-run.
Visibility was 15-18' with surf picking up at the end of the dive.
I think I'll wait for photographic evidence before diving Vet's again.
 
That is just my luck. I was hoping on a text for the 2nd dive, but the sleep was nice after scupercross.

Yeah, I bailed on the 2nd dive or else I would have texted you. I was freezing!! My toes were numb. We went to lunch instead.
