The first South(ish) LA county Beach Crabs night dive, at Vets Park, in Redondo Beach. This is a great night dive as all the critters crawl up from the depths of the canyon. Lots of strange creatures and there is also a good chance to spot some squid and their eggs.

Time: Sunday Feb. 17, at 6:00pm

Make sure you bring a Primary, back-up, and tank light or light stick.

Vets has meetered parking so bring some quarters, it costs $1/hour I believe and there is a very aggressive meeter maid. There are showers and a nice flight of stairs to the water. The entry is almost always easy.

Please RSVP in the BC's Calender if you plan to attend. Thank you.
Hope to see you there!
Cody

How can I pass on this. :eyebrow:

Even though I just told everyone on Sunday :D that I will be out of commission from diving for the next few months :D and promissed my Chiropracter that I will not dive for a while. :D

I did not see it in the calendar to RSVP though.

Hi Everyone, New to the scene, but have been diving with Cody for some time and hope to catch some of you during the southern region dives.

BTW: I'm game for Sunday too, Rickster might need to Calendar it though not knowing if Cody has access!

I'm coming way out from Fontuky (aka Fontana) if there are any would be carpoolers!

Dive Safe,
Tony

No commitment yet... :blinking:

But, if Cody is going, plus the chance to meet Tony, I'm going to try very hard to go... :14:

Seriously, for people who haven't gone to Vets at night or even done a night dive, this is the place to go...

Rickster? You going?

I'm looking into this...never dove Vet's at night and been looking forward to this in my short diving time. When I know that I can go, I'll post back..(and Tony, I'm off the 60fwy so not too far out of your route to Redondo.)

Hey there,

Just might have to make this. Been wanting to do a night dive for a while. Only one I've done was in Hawaii and that doesn't count, too warm and clear :)

Nick

Ren, seriously, you need a hot pack and a cold pack, that is what your chiropractor said right? this will settle the cold.
Tony, your such a good guy.
Kevin, really man, just come along and yes, Dwaters, like Kevin said, Vets is like a hundred times better at night. You never know what you will see at night, lots of discover channel stuff. you know, creatures eating little creatures. Hope to see you there Nick.

Jeff, you're a gift :D
Cody, you're are a good guy

I'm 85% sure I am going.

If some one wanta a light thingy for your tank,,, I will bring some extra glow sticks you can zip tie to the back of your tank. I also have some extra back up lights and one UK Light Cannon 100 HID someone can use.

If by chance, I can't make it, I'll put the stuff in a box and give it to Cody or someone else to take over.
