Regarding noise, I have an electric powered Capitano which turns at 1300 rpm and that machine puts out a fair dB level, probably comparable to an electric driven Kidde which runs at nearly three times the speed of the Bauer. If one were to subjectively describe the noise I would say that the Bauer goes "thumpa, thumpa" and the Kidde goes "BWAAH". But who cares anyway?
