I did number of dives in Verde island "beautiful" just hire the boat for the dive trip.

Thanks for the info everyone. Sounds like Verde is a real must-see and I'm already excited to go. Our tentative sked is on Nov 18- 19 but we'll still have to decide our jump-off point (Anilao or PG). Maggie, Caloy, Ish, Pyro -will keep you posted on our final IT.

VERDE is a must see! With over 30 dives there I would recommend it to anyone visiting the area. If you are in to macro photography then go! if you like bluewater then go!!! I take divers in the 45 dive range. It can be challenging to the less experienced. Great dive location and put it on you "TO DO" dive site list.

i would do it from pg. however crossing extra over to sabang for this trip is not worth in my opinion. 20us add-on is quite steep. you guys should be able to find the right shop.

out of anilao ist just a longer boatride. have fun, it's a great divespot anyway and a change to the diving in sabang. wish i could join you

I'm reliably informed (someone told me, but I was drunk) that according to a recent survey, Verde Island is the top location worldwide for marine diversity.

Frankly it's the mutt's nuts.

Washing Machine on a good current is FUN!!!

@ Traminer, if you're taliking about Chicken Feather Island (visible from Sabang Beach, the hot springs and bubbles are pretty cool, but fish life was, well, meh.

Dived the Drop Off twice on Monday... what a ride. Stunning site... **** load of fish. Didn't see anything big tho. The current was amazing. Has anyone noticed a horde of baby triggers invading the sites in PG?

Skipped Chicken Feather on this trip... I think I'll prefer my eggs boiled on land with a side of crispy bacon.
