I can't dm you cuz I'm not active enough on this board. What's the name of your dive shop? We are looking to come diving this November or December and need to reserve my dive shop still.I'm not going Anyware else soon, time is on my side. As for favors from tourists, the definition of the word favor means an act of kindness that is beyond the usual. I don't need favors, if I help you, I'm doing you a favor, not the other way around. I offered an exchange of service. I own this place, have my own private dive master and boat, and I am a legend here. The other dive shops and all the dive masters and instructors look up to me in awe. I scuba dive for pleasure not for profit. My dives are 90 minutes long not 45. When I dive Verde, I touch the bottom, I'm the only one who does night drift dives, and I go to dive sites no one else ever does. When the weather is bad, and the others are afraid or too lazy to go out, I'm out there enjoying having the whole place to myself. As for advice, here it is, you're going to have to learn the hard way that it's better to know someone here than doing it by yourself. Good luck, cause you're going to really need it.
I don't have a dive shop, I am retired and dive for my own pleasure. I like having the best equipment and crew. my tanks are steel not aluminum and I laugh at the tourists all crammed up in a dinghy. I do slow diving; I take my time. I am on the boat from 9am to 5pm. My diving style is not profitable for dive shops, they want everything fast and cheap, like a chicken farmer growing food, but I can recommend the better dive shop, from my experience here I recommend LA Laguna beach club. Now don't expect to be on my level but from all the shops I like them the best. Big boat and good food, best steaks and cheapest prices a winning combination.I can't dm you cuz I'm not active enough on this board. What's the name of your dive shop? The best boat I saw in PG 2 weeks ago was a big black rib that used Asia Divers pier one morning, If that was your boat I would be very jealousI don't have a dive shop, I am retired and dive for my own pleasure. 1. In tropical warm water I prefer aluminium tank. In all the places that I had dived in SE Asia, only one shop has steel tank as an alternative. There must be certain logical reason behind that.I don't have a dive shop, I am retired and dive for my own pleasure. 1. Steel is better, dive shops use aluminum because it's cheaper and less maintenance, and besides tourist don't deserve anything better.1. In tropical warm water I prefer aluminium tank. 2. I have never seen any dinghy being used in PG since first came here in 1996.
3. Have you got the licence to accept paying customer?
The best boats are Banka, more stability and space to walk around than the "fast boats" running 2 strokes. Not all Banka are built the same, mine has had no mechanical problems. The best boat I saw in PG 2 weeks ago was a big black rib that used Asia Divers pier one morning, If that was your boat I would be very jealous

LOL.3. I don't take customers; I can afford to dive private as much as I want and taking strangers only ruins the experience and they are dangerous and unpredictable, plus they can't do the dives I do.
So you do not own the fast black rib that was there, it was obviously an expensive boat but like you say probably not the best for PG or longevity in the climate but certainly a nice boat if you saw itThe best boats are Banka, more stability and space to walk around than the "fast boats" running 2 strokes.
