A tip to everyone. Boat fees are not controlled by resorts but the boat associations in the resort. A good way to get good boat rates is to befriend your regular boat man and you might be able to haggle the cost of boat rentals. When going to resorts you don't need to use the boats stationed in the resort, you can get your regular boatman to go to wherever resort you are staying and just negotiate the price with them.

So the next time your diving in Anilao get the number of the boatman that you like the service best and get in touch with them on your next diving trip. To get you started here are 2 boats that I use often.

Bhok "Protector" - 09186260651
Junior "Lady Susan" - 09163484759

If you want to go tech diving, Junior is experienced with tech divers. He has this ability to anchor the boat right at the mouth of mapating cave, no miss, you descend the line and you are at the most 5 meters off the mouth. He is also a gas blender for aquatech.

Bhok has a nice spacious clean boat. A very friendly guy that would even give you some indian mangoes when the tree in front of his house bears them.

Yes I think thats the standard rate in aqua. WE also pay 1,500 cross channel to Mainit and Bahura. If we do 3 dives out additional 650, but if you go back to the resort I think its another 600 + 650.....

Second out means the second time you go out from the resort.
Example:
First out you go to Mainit and Twin Rocks you get charge P1275.
Then you go back to resort for lunch
In the afternoon you do one dive out to Beatrice, you get charge P625 (look at Area II and get rate for second out).

For every third dive there is an additional P150. For 2 dives out, you don't get charge cross channel as long as the 2nd dive site is along the way (ex. first dive mainit, second dive twin rocks or arthurs or koala or cathedral. If you do a second dive to beatrice from mainint you get charge cross channel).

You can do a galera -verde island liveaboard or purely verde island liveaboard with one of the scubaworld boats. the cost for the weekend is about 12-13k per diver, boarding in anilao on a friday night ,full board, unlimted diving on sat and on sunday till about3-4 o clock and then disembark back in anilao around 7 pm.

Ask your dive pros or group organizer to get in touch with yashee at 890-6778, they can run a boat for as little as 16-20 pax.If youa re planning to close out the boat, they will give a nice discount

you can also request that instead of doing a 3 day apo reef thing, like what they are plannig to do for the Nov 30 to dec 3 weekend, they can do 2 days apo reef and last day in verde. The cost is 25k -- bec of the fuel cost in going to apo reef.
