Do you guys find scallops often? We don't see many on any postings or websites. This our first sand dollar that was whole and we would be glad to let you see it. I have a few broken parts. We will be more conscience now, because we are sure we have just passed over several of them and didn't know what we were looking at.

No I had not until a few weeks ago. I knew that they had to be there but my eyes seem to be trained on looking for Vertebrates,than Invertebrates. I do have a large collection of Invertebrates from around the world and adding one from Venice was a big bonus. Let me know when your in the area. You can always drop me a pm as well.
