What do you do with all those teeth.
A lot of people ask that question... just before they ask if you will give them some...
I actually started a thread about what people do with the teeth they find... I seemed to have the longest list... Hmmm...
Leave some for me.. I haven't had a chance to get to Venice yet and my wife & I would be thrilled to find a few.
The tides, location, weather, luck and eyesight are the determining factors when diving Venice Beach (The community, not actually Venice Beach common). Most dives that are successful are not made at VB common, but south of VBC (Venice Beach Common)

You look like you farm them! Seriously.. what do you do with them?
The latest... I filled a "vauz" for my girlfriend to display. The "vauz" opening did not allow the big Meg teeth, so I got lucky
. It took about 8,000 teeth to fill that "vauz"...
The teeth from today completed my "Sangria Meg" art work...
Disclaimer - No sharks were harmed to complete this work of art. All sharks were extinct between 2 and 5 million years ago...

SAC rates... We don't need no stinking SAC rates!
Most of the diving you do at Venice are between 14-18', there is very little current and almost no effort (proper buoyancy withstanding)... I dove Saturday in Boynton, Sunday on two shore dives in Fort Lauderdale, and had a fantastic time with all the "Conchs"!
Monday I drove back to the west coast and had a Single Steel 100 to dive in an area I am familiar with... low stress, nice temperature... I dive it enough solo not to worry about anyone else, and after the sand bar, drop down, head west to begin my circuit. Today I was in "tooth hunting mode"... There are days when I want to see other things... crabs, seahorses, guitarfish, grunts, drums, arrow crabs, etc... today was not that day... I was on a mission to find teeth, and I found them!
