WOOHOO !! I am headed back down to Tampa and plan on doing a couple of days in Venice beach looking for the elusive Meg tooth.

My plans are to stay in Tampa the 18th - 24th of November. I am signed up for the Post-Thanksgiving Turkey Fry, so Saturday the 24th is a no-brainer. I am hoping to get a day or two set up sometime during the week.

So, does anyone have any plans already in place? I am looking at doing 2 dives per trip, either at Alhambra or a bit further south (but north of the pier). I will be with my non-diving wife, daughter and mom, but we will have 2 cars. I will try to arrange our "family" plans around whatever dive plans I may be able to drum up.

DISCLAIMER: I don't really care where I dive as long as I can collect shark Toofies! However, I don't really want to shell out for a boat dive when I can do it from the beach.

How about Wednesday morning? I could be there around 8-8:30 for two dives. I brought the kids there about three weeks ago and the vis was terrible. I would like to see it a little clearer.

Vis at Venice beach is going to pretty much be hit or miss now through March.

I was just informed by my 10 yr old that I have plans on Wednesday (She has organized a birthday party for my wife). I'm gonna have to pass on that one. It's staring to look as if my well-laid scheme of planning a dive is turning into a "I'm gonna run to the store (and not come back for 6 hrs)" type trip.

Well I guess I'll just have to roll the dice and hope for a HIT!

I would try for Thursday morning but I think my wife would have a fit with it being Thanksgiving Day. I should check anyway though.
