I was just curious how badly Venice's beaches got hit from the hurricane yesterday??

What do you local guys think the near future for teeth hunting will look like? Do you think all the teeth have been covered, or would you guess new sites have been exposed?

The other thought I had was that, didn't they just complete a beach restoration there?? Did they spend 10 million dollars to move sand onto the beach, just weeks before Mother Nature moved it all back where she had it?

I'm scheduled to dive with Steve Thacker @ Scuba West on the 25th... My 10 year old son is newly certified (7 post class dives completed in the last week, 7,000 to go!!) and is dying to find his first shark's tooth!!

How bad is it?

I went after the beach renourishment, and there are plenty of teeth there. If you have any vis, you'll find 'em. I actually found more quality teeth than normal, and Dennis wouldn't hurt that a bit. If anything, I'd think some of the silt would get sifted down.
