Definitief. False Bay and Atlantic. Dragging drysuit. Unlike Octopus lover, I get cold there.

It’s cold around the Cape ! Better to dive dry.

Eastern Cape (further north east) is the only place I have ever seen paper nautilus, but is better known for Great Whites.

Wet is fine for Aliwal Shoal and Sodwana Bay.

I have about 1,000 dives in SA. Mostly in Cape Town. Natal about 100. None in Oos Kaap-hate the entries/exits. Too old for that now.

I haven’t dived around Cape Town yet … maybe I should … mostly Natal and Moz. I picked up a bug on last trip and was congested, so had to cancel all diving. We did some safaris instead. Hoping to go again next year.
