My deepest condolences go out to all of you...

So why has it been so bad for the past 2 weeks? and when do you guys think it will be better?

I thought 10' of vis was pretty good actually.
You really only need enough to read the gauges.

March 9/09, Kelvin grove. Top 20' less than 5' vis, 20 - 40 about 10, under that as far as the light could shine. It cleared up nicely and my buddy and I have a good dive.

Excellent, you found my dive knife, sweet. You can never have a knife too big. I got into a fight one dive with a dragon and well, I pulled out my knife, started swinging and it ran in fear. Don't mess with me :rofl3::rofl3::rofl3::popcorn::popcorn::popcorn:

Dove Caulfield cove today. Vis was about 5-10' but I did find what appears to be a long sword. Aqualung/US Divers, a foot long and weighs about ten pounds.
Mike, did you lose your knife :D
