Just wanted to make a point that I hadn't gone off in a strop or offended in any way! =)

I recommend searching out Dive Quest at Epcot Center. It is expensive for a dive, but Disney does it well. It will be a great starter dive for your girlfriend. Once she dives there you will be hooked.

If you post your dates it might be possible for someone going through MCO to pick you up and spend the day diving.

Kissimmee Pro Dive Center runs trips down to West Palm Beach all the time. It's a bit of a shot to get there from where you're at, but I'm game to give you a drive to Kissimmee Dive Center, let you get the equipment you want and run you down to West Palm or wherever everyone is going. Is the 9th-10th of July good for you? I'm out of town on the 2nd-4th (American holiday. Something about gaining our Independence from a colonial power a while back)

Don't mind Orlando Eric. He gets a tad crazy when he gets off his pills.

Let me know and we'll begin talking about it. Maybe we could go out on Baitedstorm's boat - that would be a blast and a half!
