I've had a Uwatec Bottom Timer for quite a few years, recently had an issue with it.
After surfacing from a dive in Cayman it indicated a depth of 2 feet. That meant it would not turn off! I watched it during the flight home, and as the pressure decreased it finally decided to turn off.
Have not been diving since, but wetting the contacts makes it turn on and indicates 0 feet.
Any idea what the problem might have been? I bought it used so it's quite possible the battery voltage is getting low, resulting in odd behaviour ??
