I have only read (havent tried them) that split fins are less manuveralbe? Again Im sorry for going off topic. Just pondering :)
 
non-split jetfins or turtles are for more experienced divers only. incorrect usage without training could kill you. you can get proper certification to dive them from TDI or IANTD or through NAUIs technical diving program.

if you are only doing recreational diving, stick with splitfins. make sure that they're bright yellow or pink.

How about PADI Rec-Tech...does that certify me for turtles?

Im not an experienced diver so I appreciate the advice (tho I still dont know what a turtle fin is) but why yellow or pink? And I dont have splitfins.

Why lamont, you almost sound annoyed. Uncle Pug would have anything to do with this; would he? :D

This is a Jet fin. You'll probably need two of them.

I'm considering a rebreather, but I want one with a long hose so that I can still be "in" because I rely heavily on my gear configuration to let people know that I'm a "serious" diver. Should I make the supply side, or the exhaust side 7'? And what's the best way to deploy it?
