Using 30/30

How do you use 30/30, if at all

For me, it depends on the dive. If I'm just cruising in the 100-120 range, 30/30 (ppO2 1.4ish) is acceptable.

That being said, I don't dive that often within that range. Usually its 80-100, then 150ish (21/35 or 18/45 type dives).
 
30/30 in the 100 to 120 range works great here too. It never ceases to amaze me how simple tasks are so much easier with the 30/30.

I certainly agree there are about 2 or 3 of my local dives that really demand 30/30 cause they are penetrations or really dark at 95-110ft. But those are really the only dives I'm using 30/30 on. I have tried 25/25 twice and didn't really think there was much benefit to using that mix since I'm continuous blending at home anyway.

So that's why, except on a rare dive, I'm either 32% or 21/35.
