has anyone found a use for used sorb ? was thinking it could be good for mopping up a chemical spill or similar or maybe sprinkling a layer on the garden compost to help it break down faster

Doesn't work for oil dry, tried that once. Dirt from the back yard is more effective.
Gave some to the gardener buy at work to raise the PH of some soil. Not effective. Guessing it was already too spent and with as much soil as he was trying to change, it was just a drop in the bucket. But had a lot of volume to it. Even for free he didn't want it.

I did use some as an anti-kitty liter. Cats were using a corner of my back yard as a litter box. Started putting this stuff on the ground. (it is bare Arizona dirt, nothing growing there) Cats don't go there anymore. I hear the neighbors complaining about the cats now. Can't say for sure that it is what got the cats to find a new place or not, but I did it and now they are gone. Or maybe it was the neighborhood Coyote that got that cat?

Got a friend in Florida who uses it to level holes in his limestone driveway
