I have decided to but an Otter drysuit, which I think is perfect for the type of dives I will do. But here is my dilemma: I can buy a new one, or get a used one with around 100 dives on it for half the price…what would you do?

Buy the new one. I am not familiar with the brand but regardless you will have some compression of the neoprene after that many dives and it will not give you the same warmth that a new suit will. Also the condition of the used suit depends on many things such as how it was stored (creases?), cared for, etc. Any breaking down of the neoprene and you might be wasting your money. if you can go with a new suit, it will fit you better, last longer and give you more warmth. better investment in the long run.
