Do you pay the respective VAT since the delivery address the EU vendor uses is in Germany, or does this service provide the customs paperwork for the EU vendor to prove that the shipment is going outside the EU?

The final destination determines whether VAT charges are levied -- so nothing whatsoever for US bound shipments, for example . . .

The seller has to offer that service right? I have always been a little confused about how to do the VAT refund.

I wonder if the tariffs will hit dive imports badly, I purchased something from China direct the other day and the invoice had a 10% 'tariff' charge! Not sure if they were just trying to charge more and looking for an excuse.

Shipments from the EU are VAT & tariff free if under $800, looks like China no longer gets that treatment.
