I am looking at FIR heating from Ursuit:
Ursuit FIR Deep Heat System | Ursuk

It is suitable for diving, ok, I don't like the idea of a batterie in your suit, but ursuits says it is no problem.

But any experiences with it? And does the batterie not crack inside the drysuit as you dive it deep? I want to use it on dives over 100m depth.

Having the battery & heat control inside the suit is not a good idea IMHO. If there is a problem you can't disconnect and how will you control the heat settings after you suit up? Not a good solution for diving again IMHO.

That is why I ask it. It is designed for diving, they say no problems, the batteriepack is fully closed, so it is no problem if it soaks. I am not afraid of that, but can the batterie hold pressures of 10-15 bars? Does it crack? And then? And what if it is too warm? Of explodes? That is all theoretically possible.
There are divers that dive motorbike heatingclothes under a drysuit without problems. But I have don't know if I can trust it.I don't speak about shallow dives I do, but deep trimixdives with deco. So then you need stuff you can trust

As far as I know the diver can control the settings by pushing a button and that's possible to do through the suit... if you find it :)

But yes, having the batteries inside... don't know abut that. I hope they develop a system to plug into the canister. Not that difficult!!

As for becoming too warm, I've seen people with burns from two other brands of heated vests that use external batteries...

The internal pressure of the battery is 1 bar. Suit not in squeeze needs at 130 m depth a 14 bar. Will the battery hold that? or will it crack? And will the button still work then? Just some thoughts. NObody dived this heating and went to bigger depths?
