That pony in your pic is WAY TOO SMALL for a real dive.

You should consider a larger Pony to dive with.

Try this pony. It's already rigged for diving and ready to go.

JD950,

The 'banana sling' is a much more streamlined sling to use than the one you have pictured.. Check into getting one of those. :rofl3:

Correction: The banana sling is more streamlined as long as the water is below 50 degrees!

Good news, the sling arrived and I went to the LDS to take a look. I took a picture and am attaching it. You know I used to think these guys were overpriced on some stuff, and a bit arrogant with a newbie like me, but they sure have helped me with this. Great service.

I guess they were telling jokes or something before I went in, because the sales guy/instructor who was helping me kept laughing the whole I time I was looking at the sling.

I can't wait to try it out. They even offered to let me come and use my new pony and sling in their pool. It must be great gear because one guy said something about bringing his camera.

They can get these in black for you DIR guys, too. Just let me know if you need their name and number.

So how do you don this sling?? Does the nose of the pony go in the flap?

Mike, I think your "pony" is more like a set of doubles. Pretty sure that it would take additional training for the use of that one.

Divin'Hoosier, are you refering to me? :D

I was looking for that one...thanks.

Pretty sure that the above one is a hooka horse.

OMG LM(____)o(____) off!! Ok this is one of the funniest Threads I have ever read! Thanks to all. My sides hurt from laughing so hard.
