Came across this while diving Catalina last week. The body is fairly flat and the only moving part was the single fin in the middle on the top edge. I haven't seen anything like it so far. Any ideas?

How large was it? Perhaps a young slug?

Looks like a job for drbill.

I was thinking it was a Hooded Nudibranch (or Lions Head Nudibranch) bu they are more white and this looks transparent.

Looks like Carinaria cristata to me... a heteropod gastropod (snail)
