The compass, portholes, plates and other artifacts recovered from the Achaia following the wreck's discovery by my group in 2003 are being held by us as finders and salvage of the wreck.

on our last deep dive expedition on the SS Achaia wreck in Libya,

we discovered a German army water bottle, as we lifted up and clean it, we found a code number on the cup.

the code is : ESB 40.

what could this code reference to?
