Hello,
A few overlooked issues
1) don't put it on coral, it's quite easy.
2) point
3) don't use a housed system w/ a tripod, justwon't work correctly, use a nikonos
4) the whole purpose for a tripod is for long shutter times. this will BLUR the passing by fish and lighten the subject.
5) you could find a place to set the tripod out of current/surge. Not all dive spots have these conditions
monopods' will do similar but i've been known to use my elbow as a monopod.
